BANDA ACEH<\/b> -Advokat Ahmad Khozinudin menilai hukuman mati terhadap koruptor sudah mendesak diberlakukan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Koruptor harus dimatikan karena telah merampas hak rakyat dan mematikan kepentingan seluruh rakyat. Hukuman mati bagi koruptor, terkategori Ta’zir yang menurut syariat Islam sah untuk diterapkan,” kata Khozinudin, dikutip Jumat 28 Agustus 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mengenai metode eksekusi, Khozinudin mengusulkan dengan hukum pancung. Jadi, koruptor yang korupsi dalam jumlah tertentu dan dalam keadaan tertentu, bisa dihukum mati dengan cara dipancung.<\/p>\n
“Hukuman mati akan memberikan efek jera pada koruptor. Karena penjara dan denda, tidak membuat koruptor jera dan masih terus diteladani pejabat lainnya,” kata Khozinudin.<\/p>\n
Hukum mati bagi koruptor di Indonesia sudah diatur dalam dalam Pasal 2 Ayat (2) Undang-Undang Tindak Pidana Korupsi (UU Tipikor).<\/p>\n
