BANDA ACEH<\/b>\u00a0 – Seorang warga negara Indonesia (WNI) yang menjadi tentara bayaran untuk Rusia, dilaporkan tewas dalam pertempuran di Donetsk. Tragisnya, pria bernama Muhammad Taufiq itu tewas di hari pertamanya bertugas di wilayah Ukraina yang diduduki Rusia itu.<\/p>\n
Informasi yang dirilis Intelijen Pertahanan Ukraina (DIU) mengungkap, Taufiq sempat menjalani pelatihan militer selama 1 minggu lebih sebelum ditempatkan dalam pertempuran.<\/p>\n
DIU mengungkap Taufiq sebagai pria kelahiran Sorong, 22 Mei 1978.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sebelum pergi ke Rusia, dia tinggal di Surabaya serta sempat bekerja sebagai sopir taksi di Jakarta. Dia juga memiliki pengalaman kerja di Amerika Serikat (AS) dan fasih berbahasa Inggris.<\/p>\n
Disebutkan, Taufiq meneken kontrak dengan militer Rusia di Korolyov, Moskow, pada 19 April 2026 yang berlaku selama setahun.<\/p>\n
Menurut DIU, Taufiq ditugaskan sebagai penembak senapan mesin dan menjalani pelatihan dekat Voronezh.<\/p>\n
Taufiq tewas saat unit-unit Rusia berusaha maju dari Zelena Dolyna menuju Novoselivka dan Drobysheve di Donetsk.<\/p>\n
